Here at Destination Weddings of Florida, Inc., D.B.A., Cocoa Beach Weddings, we have been providing beautiful Destination Weddings in Florida for two decades.
We typically use the Slater Way/3rd Ave N., at an access named after Surfing Legend and Hometown Hero Kelly Slater. However, we are mobile now and can come to your special beach, park our home wedding location of choice.
We will help you plan your elopement and are trained Wedding Officiants, Florists specializing in Fresh and Silk custom floral orders.
* We have a Male and Female experienced and Professional Officiants
* Unlimited emails, calls, a phone rehearsal
* A customized Christian or Civil Ceremony and a keepsake certificate of Marriage
* Certification and Return of your marriage license to the appropriate Florida County
We still offer our a few of our beautiful one of a kind decorations and original creations and Fresh or Silk wedding flowers.
We really appreciate all of your support through these recent changes while we do our best to provide quality over quantity weddings and are at the age we just don't want to work that hard anymore. We have learned a lot of the years of what battles to pick and the sunset weddings in the summer is just not one we feel is worthy of spending the day waiting and wondering if it will rain or be super windy. The mornings during these months can also get hot so we suggest the earliest start time, the better. Usually like 8 or 830 am. You may also do sunrise for an additional fee of $100. (depending on availability)

We enjoy life on our small farm where I enjoy gardening fresh Flowers and Edible Foods. We live with six Gopher Tortoises who allow us to live there with them and their wild bunny friends! Dave "Turtle" Salisbury
He is a vital part of who we are at Cocoa Beach Weddings. He holds down the office, all the business and bookings. He performs most all of our Ceremonies as well as sets up the decorations with me. His hands are in everything along with me and also works with our flowers. He totally puts his heart, soul into every wedding. Not afraid of hard work and dedication. He has been a fisherman in the Bering Sea for nearly 15 years fishing for Salmon and Crabs was a typical day's work and he also served as a Merchant Marine.

Frequently Asked Beach Wedding Questions:
* We have more than 20 in our Party, is that ok? Yes, we don't recommend too big of a wedding, Keep in mind the problem you will run across with more than 20 is parking and restrooms.
* Will you work with other Officiants? No, this is what we do.
*Will you let us bring our own Photographer? Yes. However Sherri has been shooting beach weddings for over 20 years.
* Can we change before or after or wedding? We ask that you arrive dressed and Ready for your wedding including a bathroom stop BEFORE you get to the beach, since most access's do not have public restrooms.
* Can we bring food or drinks? Yes, however it will be your responsibility to set up and serve and tear it down and clean up the beach area.
* What if we cancel our wedding for any reason? You will have already agreed to our non-refundable deposit, if you've sent us a retainer. We will refund any amount over the deposit unless it is the same day you are suppose to get married, then none of it is refundable because this is considered a "no show".
* When is my balance due? One week prior to your wedding date, so if you book within one week of your ceremony then you will need to pay in full or you can make arrangements to pay cash.
* What if we are late? We are both legally bound by our contract and we both agree to start ON TIME~ We will be there and be ready to start at the scheduled time, so we also will expect the same courtesy from you. When you are more than 15 minutes late you will need to add $100 and this will be payable PRIOR to the start of the wedding. More than a half hour late, will be considered a "no show" and no refunds will be given. For sunset weddings, this is imperative because once the sun goes down, it is DARK! For morning weddings, if you are late, it will be HOT! We wouldn't think you'd be happy if you arrived and we weren't prepared.
* Flowers- While we strive to provide the freshest flowers, colors and types that are requested, we are limited only by what is actually available at the time they will be prepared. Silk Flowers need to be ordered at least 2 weeks prior to date and we do our best to find the highest quality of silk flowers available and do the best we can to match your requests.
* May we bring our own flowers? Sure. We have been providing beach wedding florals since 2004 for all of Destination Weddings of Florida, Inc., and Cocoa Beach Weddings exclusively. We not only make beautiful fresh but also specialize in custom silk work too! www.cocoabeachflorist.com
* May we bring our own decorations? We only work with our own decorations.
* How long will I have my rented decorations set up? They will be up for min. of 1/2 hour from your scheduled start time, no later than an hour after scheduled start time with photography svcs.
* What if it rains? We will do our best to adjust time if it is an option. if it is just a washout. We may be able to reschedule the next morning for a $75 fee, depending on availability. No refunds on decorations unable to set up due to weather. So plan to be flexible if the beach is your dream. We will be flexible for you on your wedding day, since we want to see your wedding happen on the beach too!
* Parking- most beach access has parking for $5.00 for first hour, then $3.50 an hour after that. If you have Handicap permit's there is no fees at any of our City Parking. We do have a couple of Public beach Parks that have free parking and restrooms. Let us know your needs to better advise you on the location that will suit you best.
